About Us
Welcome to Conant! We are Conant Gardens Seventh-day Adventist Church and we are located on the Northeast side of Detroit in the Conant Gardens Neighborhood. Conant Gardens was named for Shubael Conant, the original owner of the district land in 1837, who ultimately became the founding president of the Detroit Anti-Slavery Society. The neighborhood was known for its lovely gardens that residents of the area planted; hence the name Conant Gardens.
Our church is in the heart of this community and reflects the name of the area we serve: Conant Gardens Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are affectionately known as “Conant”.
We are a multicultural and multiethnic church and with members from all over the world. We have several ministries that can be a place of growth for all members of your family.
Our weekly service starts with Sabbath School at 10:00 a.m. and midday worship service starts at 11:30 a.m. We hope that you will join us for a weekend worship experience soon. We look forward to meeting you.
