Our Church

Welcome to Conant! We are Conant Gardens Seventh-day Adventist Church and we are located on the Northeast side of Detroit in the Conant Gardens Neighborhood. Conant Gardens was named for Shubael Conant, the original owner of the district land in 1837, who ultimately became the founding president of the Detroit Anti-Slavery Society. The neighborhood was known for its lovely gardens that residents of the area planted; hence the name Conant Gardens.

Our church is in the heart of this community and reflects the name of the area we serve: Conant Gardens Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are affectionately known as “Conant”. You can learn more about our beliefs and other information here on our website.

Our church is multicultural and multiethnic and has members from all over the world. We have over 40 ministries that can be a place of growth for all members of your family.

Our weekly service starts with Sabbath School at 10:00 a.m. and midday worship service starts at 11:15 a.m. Our live stream begins at 12 noon. We hope that you will join us for a weekend worship experience soon. We look forward to meeting you.
